The music was good but the surround sound let it down. Ill let him off slightly as it was filmed when Bluray wasnt really that big but really it should be better! Just buy the dvd. Customer Rating: Summary: Blu Ray - John Legend Comment: Good show - good sound quality PCM 5.1 - Images of John and stage are excellent, crowd sometimes not that good.. (But who cares..?) Sound: My sound-system Denon 3808, MonitorAudio speakers, MKsound subw etc. So BD is now the new thing to discover and listen.. Overall sound is really good and a lot of depth as well, but I did had some problems concerning the Bass.. Sometimes too little and than sometimes too much.. All others mid and high are spot on and perfect. It's not really annoying, but more something to know when viewing it for the first time.. I like my bass in songs so that's why my struggle to get it perfect.. In overall this is an excellent performance and even with my lack of bass in some songs, I show it to my friends lots of times.. Customer Rating: Summary: super stuff Comment: i was very happy when i learned that this dvd treat was out as i had twice missed seeing john live in birmingham. i've watched this twice now - john's in fine form. performs all his album material plus a new song from his next album. as its live, there is a definate extra funky'ness to all the songs - and john legend fans will enjoy listening to all their favourites with this extra grooviness! top stuff.
